One week after recording 22 new cases of COVID-19, Wichita Presbyterian Manor has identified 4 new cases of the virus since January 1. In addition, one resident who previously tested positive for the virus died.
“There’s no doubt the senior population has been hit hard by the virus, along with the health care workers who’ve treated them,” said Courtney Wolfe, executive director at Wichita Presbyterian Manor. “We couldn’t be happier to know there’s finally a bit of light at the end of such a difficult year.”
Wichita Presbyterian Manor identified 22 new cases of COVID-19 at the campus since December 24 as the community experienced its worst outbreak of the pandemic.
Get acquainted with new Wichita Presbyterian Manor resident Gerald Allgood, who moved into independent living at the Westwinds last fall. The Iowa native grew up playing music with his family and went on to travel internationally.
