Our 50th Anniversary Memories

From the grass skirt to her elaborate head dress, this hula dancer came equipped to entertain our residents.
A banner announcing the Good Samaritan Golf Tournament hangs outside the Presbyterian Manor entrance. The tournament was a benefit for residents who have outlived their financial means through no fault of their own.

Wichita Presbyterian Manor opened its doors in 1970. We’re looking back on community history all year as part of our 50th anniversary festivities.

The Presbyterian Manor hallways have always been a high-return environment for the trick-or-treaters who have visited over the years.

Over the years, we’ve come together to celebrate holidays, mark special occasions and enjoy fellowship with each other. Those celebrations look a little different these days, and it may be a little while before we can invite the community in for a big party. In the meantime, we’re sharing a few of our favorite memories. And one thing is certain: We always enjoy costume opportunities, at Halloween or any other time of the year.
