Virtual tour gives realistic view of life with dementia

Caring for someone with memory impairment? Ever wished for a window into the world in which your loved one is living? On Thursday, September 19th, participants were able to get a glimpse of what their loved one is going through. Wichita Presbyterian Manor provided an interactive workshop where participants were able to spend 5 to 10 minutes experiencing first-hand what it feels like for someone with memory loss. This multi-sensory experience provided a better understanding of the behaviors and needs of loved ones living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.
