Behavior is a powerful form of communication, particularly for those with dementia who struggle to communicate verbally as the disease progresses.
Join us for a free lunch and learn event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday July 9 to learn about some of the common triggers for behaviors associated with dementia, how to assess the person’s needs, and how to intervene effectively. The presentation will be led by Denise Vann from the Central and Western Kansas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
RSVP to Cherree Hudspeth by July 2 and [email protected] or 316-942-7456.
This free event is part of Presbyterian Manor's' ongoing Just Ask lifelong learning series focusing on issues of interest to seniors and their adult children.
