Therapy Services

Patients in the Post-Acute to Home (PATH®)program — a proven approach to rehabilitative care that bridges the gap between hospital and home — receive rehabilitation therapy services provided by Aegis Therapies® and skilled nursing services that contribute to their recovery under the supervision of a physician, registered nurse and other skilled professionals as a Medicare benefit. A team of doctors, nurses, therapists and social workers tailors individual programs that are built to meet each patient’s needs while also caring for the whole person. Regular family conferences are held to expedite recovery and aid the transition to home.

Our Post-Acute-to-Home services are complemented and strengthened by the unique specialty programs Aegis offers, including Freedom Through Functionality (FTF). In addition, Aegis provides clinical programming shaped by more than 8 million rehab outcomes and Outcomes Report Cards which provide a tangible way for you and your care providers to track results.

Our therapy center features physical, occupational and speech therapy services with state-of-the-art Nautilus® equipment geared toward seniors. The equipment offers options that enable patients and residents to exercise earlier in the recovery process to improve function and accommodates those who have difficulty with movement, mobility or paralysis. It can help increase range of motion, strength, endurance and muscle control.

The PATH program also utilizes virtual rehabilitation which guides patients through special exercises and activities in a computer generated "interactive" environment supervised by our therapists. When participating in virtual rehabilitation, patients may exercise longer and find it more enjoyable.

Hydrotherapy is also offered in our indoor pool.
