Rehabilitation Services

We’re with you every step of the way

Wichita Presbyterian Manor’s goal is to help both long-term residents and those who need a short-term stay during their recovery period return to an optimum level of functioning through rehabilitation at our Wichita, Kansas, campus.

Our professional, compassionate therapists can assist residents and physicians with setting goals for recovery and develop customized therapy programs to address areas related to the resident’s condition.

Our brand-new therapy center features state-of-the-art equipment geared toward seniors. The equipment offers options that enable patients and residents to exercise earlier in the recovery process to improve function and accommodates those who have difficulty with movement, mobility or paralysis. It can help increase range of motion, strength, endurance and muscle control.

Through the use of virtual rehabilitation, therapists guide residents through special exercises and activities in a computer generated "interactive" environment. When participating in virtual rehabilitation, patients and residents may exercise longer and find it more enjoyable.
