Dawn Veh, Executive Director
Dawn joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in June 2014. She has more than 30 years of experience in the senior care industry, and was most recently the vice president of health services for a senior living community in Hutchinson, Kansas. She has a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in gerontology from Kansas State University and a master of business administration from Wichita State University. Dawn was a member of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy in 2010-2011.
Jill Coleman, Director of Sales and Marketing
Jill brings successful senior living marketing experience to The
Westerly, having previously worked as marketing director for Mesa
Springs Retirement Village in Abilene, Texas. In her new role as
director of sales, Jill will lead The Westerly sales and marketing team
to engage with Wichita seniors at every stage of their decision-making
Chrissie Ammann, Sales Counselor
Chrissie brings extensive experience in senior living to The Westerly
Residences. Prior to moving to Wichita, she directed sales and marketing
for communities in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Junction City, Kansas.
Chrissie is eager to connect with potential residents, provide a
listening ear and share the life-enriching benefits available in our
Amy Watson, Life Enrichment Director
Amy joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in 2001, and became the life enrichment coordinator in July 2015. Her education includes an associate degree of arts and social sciences from Labette Community College. Previous positions include certified nurse assistant, social service designee, activities director, senior living counselor of Wichita Presbyterian Manor; dietary aide, cook and certified nursing assistant at Parsons Presbyterian Manor. Amy holds certifications as a certified nurse assistant and social services designee. She is a member of West Wichita Woman’s Networking Group, Aging & Wellness Coalition of Central Plains Agency on Aging, 20th Century Club of Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce and Senior Connect.
Lori Schartz, Human Resources Director
Lori joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in May 2014. She has a bachelor of science degree in business administration and human resources and a national certification in human resources (PHR). She has more than 15 years of experience in human resources in the social services field.
Denise Geist, Dining Services Director
Denise joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in October 2006. She previously served 11 years as director of food service, Andover, Kansas. Denise has completed her associate of science degree with emphasis on dietetics, and is working toward her bachelor’s degree. She is a member of the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals.
Angela Page, Life Enrichment Coordinator – the Westwinds
Angela joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in August 2003. She completed her certified nurses training at Wichita Technical College. Before assuming her current position, Angela served as a certified nurses assistant in health care at Wichita Presbyterian Manor.
Angela Johnston, Environmental Services Director
Angela joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in April 2007. Previous positions include director of housekeeping for Galicia Heart Hospital and Galicia Medical Group for Alternative Sources, and a similar post at the Kansas Spine Hospital in Wichita.
Greg Schmidt, Chaplain
Greg is chaplain for Wichita Presbyterian Manor and Senior Independence Hospice of Mid-America. He first joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in 2007. Following a brief hiatus, he returned in June 2012. He has a master of divinity degree from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary. Previous positions include director of activities at Catholic Care Center, senior pastor at Crossroads Community Church in Newton, Kansas, and associate pastor of worship and nurture at Koerner Heights Mennonite Brethren Church, Newton. His certifications and affiliations include activities director and social service designee.
Jennie Johnson, Assisted Living and Memory Care Director
Jennie joined Wichita Presbyterian Manor in August 2015, but she is no
stranger to Presbyterian Manor. She was previously the assisted living
director at Newton Presbyterian Manor, where she started as a certified
nursing assistant in 2000. She subsequently worked as a certified
medication aide, transportation aide, medical records and staff
coordinator before assuming her current position as assisted living
director. Jennie proudly asserts that she earned her licensed practical
nurse degree and registered nurse degree with help from Presbyterian
Manors’ Employee Scholarship Fund. She did her licensed practical nurse
training at Hutchinson Community College and earned her associate’s
degree in nursing at Hesston College. She is a member of Hillcrest
Dany Chebat, Executive Chef
Dany joined the Presbyterian Manor team in October 2015 as executive
chef. As a chef, he is committed to producing the highest quality food
and food presentation. A native of Lebanon, he has more than 18 years of
mastery in the culinary arts. He graduated from the Lebanese Republic
College in 1998. He trained at Republic Hotel Management of Rome. He
worked at Maronite Catholic Institute in Rome, Italy, the
Intercontinental Hotel in Asmara Eritrea and Doha, Qatar, before
becoming the Lebanese Cuisine executive chef at Cedar Grill Restaurant.
He has worked at Ali Baba, The Palms and The Daily Egg Restaurant in Las
Georgia Marie Green, Concierge
Georgia joined Presbyterian Manor in November 2015 as concierge. She has more than 10 years of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, working the front desk, sales and marketing and as operating manager for Hilton Hotels, Choice Brand Hotels and Wyndham Brand Hotels. She also worked for 18 years for various airlines in passenger service, working as a ticket counter and gate agent and a mid-level manager.
